CS CONNECT

Community Rules

Last updated: March 2026

By joining any CS Connect Pakistan group or platform, you agree to the following guidelines. These exist to keep the community respectful, productive, and welcoming for everyone.

1. Be Professional and Respectful

Keep your conversations constructive, your tone polite, and your language clean. Sarcastic jabs, belittling remarks, passive aggressive comments, and condescending behaviour have no place here. If you disagree with someone, do it respectfully. If you cannot, do not engage.

2. No Unsolicited Direct Messages

Do not privately message other members without their permission. If you need to reach someone, do so through the group first. All interactions should stay in the open community spaces unless both parties agree otherwise.

3. No Spamming

Do not send the same message across multiple groups or flood a chat with repeated content. Each message should be relevant to the group it is posted in. One message, in the right place, is enough.

4. No Promotions or Advertisements

Promotional content, ads, referral links, and marketing material are not allowed. If you have something you believe could benefit the community, send it to the official CS Connect WhatsApp number (+92 322 6221622). If the team approves it, an admin will share it on your behalf or you will be given permission to post it yourself.

5. Zero Tolerance for Harassment

Harassment, bullying, hate speech, personal attacks, threats, discrimination, or abuse of any kind will not be tolerated. This includes targeting someone based on their gender, religion, ethnicity, university, or background. No exceptions.

6. Ask Your Question Directly

Do not ask to ask. If you have a question, post it directly in the relevant group. Skip messages like "Can I ask something?" or "Is anyone here who knows Python?" and just ask. Someone will respond when they can.

7. Use the Right Group

Each group serves a specific purpose. Programming questions go in the Programming group. Entry test discussions go in the Entry Test group. Do not cross post the same message into multiple groups. Find the right space and post there once.

Reporting

If someone is disturbing you, sending unwanted messages, or violating any of these guidelines, report it immediately to the official CS Connect number or any group admin. Do not ignore it. Even if you can handle it personally, your silence allows the same behaviour to continue towards others who may not speak up. All reports are handled confidentially and reviewed fairly by the admin team.

Violations

Violating any of the rules listed above will lead to removal from the community. These guidelines exist to keep the space safe and functional for everyone, and the admin team reserves the right to take action at their discretion.

CS Connect is built by students, for students. You are free to ask, learn, share, and participate. We only ask that you respect the space and the people in it.

For any questions regarding these guidelines, you can reach out to us through the contact details listed on this website.
