Students helping students get better at CS and find their way in tech.
It started at FAST Islamabad. A few CS students realized there was a huge gap between universities when it came to mentorship, alumni connections, and industry exposure. Some universities had all of that built in. Most didn't. The goal was simple: connect tech students from different universities across Pakistan, link them up with alumni working abroad and professionals in the industry, and try to bridge those gaps.
So we made a WhatsApp group. Shared entry test tips, career advice, internship leads. More people kept joining because they were looking for exactly this kind of thing. Students started helping each other prep for tests, figure out what to learn, and connect with people already working in the field.
Today CS Connect has 3000+ members across 60+ universities. We run a podcast, host workshops, and put out free resources. The idea is still the same: give tech students across Pakistan a place where they can actually find mentorship, guidance, and the right connections.
